Why Hudson Bay?

The polar bears found in Western Hudson Bay are arguably the most studied & best known, and are in danger from shrinking sea ice. This map print of the Hudson Bay was inspired by an early map of the area, found in a book about the history of Canada, pubished in 1909. The author, Agnes Christina Laut, was a Canadian journalist and historian.

The top rim has been heavily reinforced and designed to be “spring-loaded” when open. The G-hook can be used to secure items in your bag or as a short handle when the shoulder strap is just too long.
