Zach Johnson is a full-time working artist and designer operating under the name Zenvironments. His work spans fine art and commercial projects, but is unified by an unmistakable visual language: dense, frenetic linework, jumbled characters, and environments that feel equal parts playful and overwhelming.

Working primarily with micron pens, Zach builds ever-expanding worlds populated by ghouls, monsters, misfits, and ecosystems on the brink of bursting. His influences pull from infomercials, cartoons, sweets, and the overconsumption of popular culture—filtered through a hand-drawn process that is anything but disposable.

Zach has applied this style across a wide range of surfaces and collaborations, working with brands including MTV, K2 Snowboards, ESPN, Nike, Gnu Snowboards, Icon Motosports, Slingshot Wakeboards, and Bulleit Bourbon. His fine artwork has been exhibited across the U.S. and internationally, including shows in Australia, Copenhagen, Japan, and the UK.

He currently lives and works in the Great North Woods of northern New Hampshire, where he designs and creates art every day.
