5/5/20

To our valued customers,

As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to spread, we have taken steps to ensure the health of our team members, customers, and communities. Over a month ago we closed our retail location in Twisp, WA and stopped manufacturing products. We quickly realized we could be of service and with help from 355 GoFundMe donors, we transitioned to making surgical masks for members of our regional community. We call this our 10,000 mask initiative; as of May 1 we have already built and distributed 3,500 masks to frontline, essential workers from all over the region!

As we enter "Phase 1" of Governor Inslee's "Re-opening of Washington's economy" plan we are allowed to operate Online Sales and offer free local Curbside Pick-up.  Our walk-in retail shop will remain closed until at least "Phase 2" begins.

All orders will be boxed and held for a minimum of 48 hours before shipping as a new safety precaution, so please expect orders to arrive no sooner than 5 days after an order is placed.  Please be patient on an arrival date. We will send you an email the day it ships with tracking info.

Speaking of safety procedures, we are taking a lot of them. We are following the recommendations of both the CDC and WA Labor & Industries to maintain the safety of our employees and you, our valued customers. A few examples of steps we are taking include:

  • Required employee hand washing, sanitizer at each station, mask use and workstation distancing protocol.
  • Staggered employee schedules. Some can even work from home.
  • Shop is closed to all outside customers and cleaned twice daily.
  • We have lots of fresh air and air purifiers for a healthy work environment.
  • All employees have paid time off and can safely stay home if they were to feel any symptoms.

We are excited to be working and supporting our community right now. It is hard to know how to express our deep gratitude to the health care professionals, public servants, farmers, grocery store workers, delivery folks who are working their hardest to make our lives “normal” right now. Thank you.

We appreciate the words of encouragement and support you’ve shared with us. Please stay safe by following official health guidelines and remaining supportive of each other during this time. We are all in this together!
