Danner has been making boots in the Pacific Northwest since 1932. We make bags by hand in Twisp, Washington. So when they came to us with their vision, there was a lot we already agreed on.

Built on Shared Values

Danner came to us looking for something more considered than typical branded merchandise: useful gear, thoughtfully designed and made to last.

Together, we developed custom LastBags and GearBuckets featuring historic Portland maps and Danner branding, bringing a sense of place and shared Northwest heritage into the finished bags.
DESIGN + DEVELOPMENT

The Details Matter

Danner brought historic Portland maps to the table as a starting point, connecting the bags to their roots and setting the direction for the artwork.

From there, we worked through the details together—proportion, placement, color, construction, and print scale—until everything felt right.

Made to Stick Around

The finished bags brought the pieces together: Danner’s identity and the utility of eqpd gear. The result felt less like promotional merchandise and more like something Danner might have made themselves.

Every Danner bag was cut, assembled, finished, and packed by our team in our Twisp, Washington workshop.

It’s a hands-on process, and the same people involved in figuring out how a project should work are never far from the people building it. That connection between design and making is a big part of how we work—and how a drawing on a screen becomes a bag built for years of use.
