Danner x eqpd

TWO MAKERS. ONE GOOD BAG.

Danner has been making boots in the Pacific Northwest since 1932. We make bags by hand in Twisp, Washington. When they came to us to make a custom LastBag, there was a lot we already agreed on.

eqpd x Danner

Built on Shared Values

Danner came to us looking for something more considered than typical branded merchandise. As two Pacific Northwest manufacturers with a shared appreciation for useful, durable goods, there was plenty of common ground to build from.

Together, we developed custom LastBags and GearBuckets featuring historic Portland maps and Danner branding. Designed collaboratively and made by our team in Twisp, the finished bags were built to be used long after the promotion was over.

THE RESULT

Made to Stick Around

The finished bags brought the pieces together: Danner’s identity, Portland history, and the utility of eqpd gear. The result felt less like promotional merchandise and more like something Danner might have made themselves.

“Our custom bags became one of the most-used branded items we’ve produced. The collaborative design process and durable construction made them a favorite with both employees and customers.”

BUILT IN TWISP, WA

always made here

Every Danner bag was cut, assembled, finished, and packed by our team in our Twisp, Washington workshop.

It’s a hands-on process, and the same people involved in figuring out how a project should work are never far from the people building it. That connection between design and making is a big part of how we work—and how a drawing on a screen becomes a bag built for years of use.
