A look back at 2020: we couldn't have done it without you.

With your support and the dedication of our amazing team, we were able to not only sustain through 2020, but grow our business in helpful, creative ways.  Looking forward to 2021, we are excited to share more of our design process and fresh WA made products. Here is a quick look back at our accomplishments from the year.

When lockdown started, we knew we had to take action to support our community.

With generous support from donors and volunteers, we were able to adapt our factory for mask production.

What we've learned about Responsive Design

Your generous donations allowed us to successfully complete our 10,000 Masks Campaign.

We teamed up with a group of local sewers to build and donate 10,000 masks for organizations in need. In just a couple months, our team had distributed 10,000 masks to essential workers all over Okanogan county - from grocers to hospital staff to schools.

The experience of making and wearing 3-pleat surgical masks had us thinking: there’s A LOT of room for improvement here.

So we set out to create an original and effective design that would be comfortable for our team to wear all day, with a universal and friendly aesthetic that wasn't a muzzle or looked too medical. After creating endless different prototypes to perfect the fit and aesthetic, we launched the DailyMask.

Materials shortages were a problem at the start. Eventually we were able to source advanced, lab-certified SMS filter materials, and these new materials offered us a huge creative jump-start. It was summer and many of our customers needed more breathability, while others needed extra protection for work or travel. With these new filter fabrics, we evolved our 2-layer cloth DailyMask design into the FeatherWeight, Plus, and HEPA DailyMasks. At this time we also developed an intuitive and hidden elastic adjustment system. We were frustrated by the bulky hardware and hanging loops on other masks.
