Elena Payne is a designer, illustrator, and creative director based in Wenatchee, Washington. She is the founder of the creative studio Awdience, where she works with businesses and organizations to develop thoughtful brand identities, illustration systems, and visual storytelling.

Elena has been working professionally in graphic design since 2006. Alongside running her studio, she teaches graphic design at Wenatchee Valley College, where she shares her experience with the next generation of designers while continuing to explore new creative approaches in her own work.

Her work blends strategy and play—combining strong visual systems with expressive shapes, color, and pattern. She often draws inspiration from nature, everyday moments, and the joy of visual experimentation.

For this eqpd Gear collaboration, Elena created a bold floral pattern built from layered linework and organic shapes. The design balances graphic structure with a sense of movement and warmth, creating a print that feels both playful and timeless.
